Dear Medium Tech Support (Medium, Medium Staff, Medium Engineering)
The publication “Poetry in Form” has been inaccessible since November 10, 2018. Unfortunately, many of my pieces exist only in that publication (my own carelessness in archiving, i admit), and are now inaccessible not only to other readers, but most importantly, to myself, except through the Apple “Medium” app, which has such severe limitations as to be useless for my work. I suspect that I am not the only person experiencing this problem. I have corresponded with Rachel B. Baxter, the editor, who is aware of the problem and indicated that she is trying to get it resolved, presumably with Medium.
I am writing this piece in hopes that you will understand that this is a problem that must be resolved as soon as possible: Medium has offered me a place to share my work, but if I cannot do so, and know that my material is safe, then I need to examine alternatives.
I am taking the liberty of tagging a few individuals that I know have or are pretty sure have posted there as well, and invite them, and anyone else, to comment and share their experiences. To those of you who are contributors to and/or readers of the publication, please feel free to tag others. If you wish to have your name removed from the list, i apologize in advance, and will remove your name as soon as you ask me to. if i havenʻt included you, and you wish to be included, i apologize in advance (i canʻt access the publication, so i canʻt get a listing of people there), please jump in in the comments, and i will add you to the list as well.
